This Pokemon was discovered after a few trees were brought over from the Alola Region. It's claws have been known to be a new popular food in the Johto Region, however due to these Pokemon being targeted by poachers, this Pokemon is being protected just like Slowpoke, who are also in danger of having their bodies being harvested for profit. There are rumors of this Pokemon being able to evolve from another region, but Johto has not confirmed this as true.
